ROBIN SMITHCo-ChiefRobin Smith (they/them) is a disabled artist who spends their days writing and drawing themselves into the bodies of other animals and plants. Their work has earned numerous accolades including The Haiku Foundation’s Touchstone Award for Individual Poem (2019). Robin is an Associate Editor at Yavanika Press. MARCIE WESSELSAssociateMarcie Wessels (she/her) is the author of two traditionally published children’s picture books. She began writing haiku in March 2020. Since then, her poetry has appeared in numerous esteemed journals. Several of her poems have even been nominated for The Haiku Foundation’s Touchstone Award! Marcie lives in San Diego, California with her husband and their two children. When Marcie isn’t reading or writing, she enjoys going to the beach, riding bikes, practicing Pilates and ELDOA, and playing word games like Scrabble. |

She is in the HSA’s mentorship program and her haiku appeared in the mentorship anthology, The Unexpected Weight. Her haiku/senryu have appeared in Cold Moon Journal, whiptail, Poetry Pea Podcast, and Haiku in Action. She lives in a small rural community outside of Harrison, Arkansas in the Ozark Mountains. Her interests include photography, watercolor, bookbinding, Native American flute, and everything nature. |
